Single climbing ropes are generally used on their own when sport climbing or when on shorter pitches trad climbing.
Half or double ropes are used in a pair, but clipped individually when climbing on trad routes.

I keep various types of rope around for a number of applications. I ordered this to use as a climbing rope, for exercise, and also for emergency use, if I ever need a way out of a second story window, such as a fire. I actually store it upstairs near a second story window.This rope is comfortable to grip, has a springiness to it, and easily supports my weight.
It does exactly what it says it does. It’s a well built climbing rope. We have used it on several occasions without issue & I expect it to last for quite some time! I was very impressed in its quality when it arrived. So far its held strong & very durable.

I bought this climbing rope. This rope is of high quality and durability. I have used it several times already and I like it it very much. Very durable and resist abrasion on rocks and logs. Works well when wet too and doesn’t stretch too much. For the price I really like this climbing rope.
